My life continues to evolve as I dig deeper into this work of letting go.
I started Kate: Declutter & Redesign with the intention of adding more creativity to my life & to find work that would lead to deep relationships. And it is providing both.
I am slowly learning to declutter & redesign my own life.
I went to school to become a teacher, quieting the tiny dream of living as a designer or writer. That dream felt too uncertain, the path too unclear, so I distracted myself with teaching, growing a family, and finding creativity in hobbies. But slowly, year-by-year, I am learning how to listen to my gut, quiet fears, & let go of judgment so that I can live the life that feels more like it fits ME.
My own home is the testing ground for creating spaces that function with greater ease & my writing offers a way to make sense of this journey of letting go.
I am so grateful that that I can share my insights as I work in homes with clients who are eager for change and speak to groups ready for inspiration & motivation.
I find joy in journaling, traveling, singing, eating great food, being in nature, doing yoga, and spending time with my family – who understand all of my quirks & seem to love me anyway.
I am a member of NAPO (the National Association of Productivity & Organizing Professionals), where I take classes & build relationships around this work.
