I live in Northfield, Minnesota with my husband, two kids, and a frisky golden retriever named Fischer. I have loved to design, decorate, organize, and create for as long as I can remember. I have a background in Education & Psychology and a passion for learning & self-growth.
I started Kate: Declutter & Redesign after discovering for myself the freedom that can come with letting go. I had come to a place where all the extra toys, clothes, papers, artwork, memorabilia & plastic junk that had entered our house was taking up too much of our time & I wanted to find another way. So I started to research, reflect, & shift as I developed the systems & habits that help to keep the overwhelm at bay. I joined NAPO (the National Association of Productivity & Organizing Professionals) to fine-tune techniques & theories & have a community of support & knowledge in my back pocket.
I have taken all the research, experience, & a natural inclination toward organization to guide & support clients who long to create more efficiency & ease, and move forward with less.
